Advanced Programme - Concertmaster
The course is entirely dedicated to the professional training of the Orchestra Leader and features Concertmasters from principal European orchestras and renowned conductors. From the refinement of technical-musical skills to the study of the specific repertoire, from the preparation of orchestral excerpts and solos to the development of leadership and the management of communication between the Orchestra and the Conductor, the course delves into the peculiarities of this important professional figure. The programme also includes several orchestral productions with the Stauffer String Ensemble, allowing each student to assume the role of Concertmaster. Thanks to the support of the Stauffer Foundation, all the courses of the Academy are tuition-free.
