New York City Teacher Training in the Alexander Technique
The BAC offers international students M-1 visas towards in-depth study in the Alexander Technique Teacher Training Program at the Balance Arts Center in New York City. This immersive course allows students to integrate and refine the practices and principles of AT. Students studying at the BAC experience personal change and growth in a supportive group learning environment. Students who complete the teacher training course will be proficient in hands-on work, have strong pedagogical skills, and a good understanding of the theory and history of the technique. The BAC Teacher Training Program is a comprehensive 1600 hours of study that can be completed in a 3-5 year period. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
