Ensemble OrQuesta Opera Academy: Dido & Aeneas | Acis & Galatea
The Ensemble OrQuesta team, for the first time since 2019, will put forward another academy fully taking place in London. This unique professional development opportunity will have rehearsals and performances taking place at The Cockpit, Marylebone. This academy will feature Marcio da Silva's 2018 production of Handel's Acis and Galatea in a double bill with his 2016 production of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. Performances will be accompanied by Ensemble OrQuesta Baroque and the academy will be led by EO’s harpsichordist Predrag Gosta and EO’s Artistic Director Marcio da Silva. Participating singers will be coached on style, movement and pronunciation.
