This is a scholarship limited to the 2025/26 season, for which you will receive a salary of €850 per month. The conditions are comparable to an orchestral internship. As part of the scholarship, you must perform an average of 16 services per month, with a maximum of 160 services per season. The duration of the contract is 10 months, the contractual partner is the Rheinische Philharmonie Foundation.
The internship should take place during or immediately after your orchestral music studies.
We expressly point out that applicants who have already completed a temporary contract or an internship / scholarship / academy in another TVK orchestra cannot take part in our internship / scholarship audition.
Applicants from non-EU countries require a valid work and residence permit for the duration of the internship.
Unfortunately, travelling expenses cannot be reimbursed.
Candidates invited to audition should report to the orchestra office on the day of the audition. Please ring the bell at the stand (orange arrow) in the courtyard of the Görreshaus. You will then be allocated your audition room.
A limited number of rehearsal rooms are available from 1.5 hours before the start of the audition.
Participants who are not covered by the EU's right to freedom of movement must have a residence status that allows them to obtain a work permit in order to take part in the audition. We kindly ask you to present proof of this at the audition.
Please note that travelling expenses will unfortunately not be reimbursed.
