An Alternating 1st Concertmaster
The Vaasa City Orchestra is the most significant player in classical music in Ostrobothnia, Finland. Under the leadership of Chief Conductor Anna-Maria Helsing, our 31 professional musicians form an accomplished symphony orchestra, for which we are now seeking
AN ALTERNATING CONCERTMASTER
for a permanent position starting from 21 July 2025.
Audition: Monday, 12 May 2025, starting at 12.00.
Invitation to audition will be sent by e-mail after the application period ends.
The orchestra’s pianist will be available for the audition. The applicants may also bring their own pianist at their own expense.
Venue: Vaasa City Hall, Senaatinkatu 1, Vaasa

The position is subject to a six-month probationary period. The selected candidate must provide a medical certificate confirming their fitness for the role before accepting the position.
