The call for applications is primarily aimed at young musicians who have completed a degree programme (Bachelor) or are at the end of their studies.
The Orchestra Academy of the Staatskapelle Halle offers a wide range of training programmes to prepare you for a successful career start.
Participation in rehearsals and concert formats of the Staatskapelle Halle as well as the integration into the extensive repertoire of the music theatre and ballet section of the Halle Opera enable you to gain artistic and personal experience as an orchestra musician. (approx. 12 services per month)
With the Handel Festival Orchestra, as an ensemble of the Halle State Orchestra on historical instruments, there is the opportunity to participate in selected projects and thus deepen existing knowledge of historical performance practice.
Participation in academy concerts together with musicians from the Staatskapelle Halle in a chamber orchestra, own chamber music formats, regular coaching by mentors from the Staatskapelle, concerts in charitable organisations and monthly training auditions are an integral part of the training.
A monthly stipend of €720 is paid out to support living expenses.

A valid residence permit is required.
Travelling expenses cannot be reimbursed.
