BISEGGER ORCHESTRA ACADEMY
of the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra
For the 2025/26 season, the 125th anniversary year of the Bielefeld Philharmonic, the Bisegger Orchestra Academy of the Bielefeld Philharmonic will be launched with the aim of making a central contribution to the development of young musicians into highly qualified orchestral musicians.
Highly talented young instrumentalists are given the opportunity to prepare specifically for the high demands placed on them by professional orchestras.
The aim is to provide practical training. Individual instrumental skills and talents are encouraged and musical interaction in line with the tradition and sound ideal of the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra is made possible.
The basis for this is intensive, individual musical supervision of the young musicians by members of the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra, offers such as audition training and mental coaching for personal development as well as participation in rehearsals, concerts and musical theatre productions of the stages and orchestras of the city of Bielefeld.
Contract period
One season (approx. 10 months) incl. three months trial period
Start of contract on 25/08/2025 or by arrangement
Terms and conditions
- 1.000,- € per month as a stipend
- Max. 15 services per month (calculated on average over the season)
- No obligation to be available
- Time off for auditions
Prerequisites
- advanced studies at a German university or recently successfully completed university or specialised academy studies
- good knowledge of German
