To mark the 100th anniversary of the German State Philharmonic Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate, we launched the Ernst Boehe Academy in 2020.
It offers young, particularly talented musicians the opportunity to prepare for a successful career as a section leader in the orchestra.
The scholarship holders are trained for prominent roles at the front desks.
They receive additional training from internal and external experts in the areas of leadership behaviour (communication, conflict resolution, professional leadership of a vocal group) and music education (working with different age groups and audiences).
This gives them the ability to be successful as comprehensive ambassadors for music.

Applicants under the age of 21 will be asked to provide a letter of recommendation from their teacher stating that they are already in the final stage of professional preparation
