State Opera Plovdiv is pleased to announce an audition for the position of:
Tutti Clarinet (with the obligation to also perform on Bass Clarinet)
Full-time position
Live Audition Date:

Venue: House of Culture “Boris Hristov”
15 Gladston Blvd, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Repertoire Requirements:
Solo Piece:
• W. A. Mozart – Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K. 622
– 1st Movement: Allegro
– 2nd Movement: Adagio
Opera Solos:
• Verdi – La Forza del Destino (Overture)
• Puccini – Tosca (Act III, clarinet solo from “E lucevan le stelle”)
• Puccini – La Bohème
• Rossini – The Barber of Seville (Cavatina Figaro)
Symphonic Solos:
• Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 5 (may be performed with the principal clarinet)
• Beethoven – Symphony No. 8 (Trio arrangement)
Bass Clarinet:
• Verdi – Aida (Act IV)
• Tchaikovsky – Macbeth
• Shostakovich – Violin Concerto
