We are looking for a musical personality who excels through excellent command of their instrument, high commitment, and reliability. They should possess a high degree of adaptability.
We offer our musicians a working environment characterized by mutual appreciation and a professional atmosphere. We provide the prominent musicians of the orchestra with opportunities for solo performances and support the further development of each individual within our capabilities.
As the opera orchestra at the Theater Aachen, the Sinfonieorchester Aachen performs approximately 70 productions per season. Additionally, through its active concert schedule with a wide variety of concert series ranging from chamber music to large symphonic works, the orchestra is the most important and largest provider of classical music in the Aachen region.

Furthermore, our orchestra distinguishes itself within the framework of an excellence project by specializing in historically informed performance practice. Our musicians have the opportunity to learn from experts, and a collection of historical instruments has been acquired, which are available to the orchestra members.
Remuneration is according to TVK B / Activity Allowance Level 1.
Travel and accommodation costs cannot be covered.
