Coro Y Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid Viola

The Youth Orchestra of the Community of Madrid (JORCAM) is holding auditions to join its pool of musicians for 2025-2027.

Registration deadline: 5 October
Audition dates: 25, 26 October and 1, 2, 8 and 9 November 2025

REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be no older than 24 years of age on the closing date for registration.
- They must be permanent or occasional residents of the Community of Madrid.
- They must accept the terms and conditions of the membership document that will be provided to each applicant upon passing the admission test.

APPLICATIONS
- To register for the auditions, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
- The deadline for submitting registration applications is 5 October at 11:59 p.m.
- Those who were accepted into the Young Orchestra's instrumentalist database in the 2023 call for applications must take these tests if they wish to continue being part of it.
- The list of applicants admitted to the entrance auditions will be published on our website: www.fundacionorcam.org from 6 October.

AUDITIONS

The exams will be held at the ORCAM Foundation headquarters (C. del Mar Caspio, 4, 28033 Madrid) on the following dates:
- 25 and 26 October (wind instruments).
- 1 and 2 November (strings and wind instruments).
- 8 and 9 November (strings, percussion, piano and harp).

They will consist of:
- Performance of one of the compulsory pieces chosen by the applicant from those listed in Annex 1 (except for flute applicants, who must perform the two concertos indicated).
- Performance of excerpts from the orchestral repertoire (which can be downloaded from the following link).
