Principle Tuba - Core Tenure Track Preliminary & Semi-Final Rounds: Monday September 22nd, 2025 Final Round: Tuesday September 23rd, 2025 Employment beginning in September/October 2025 or as soon as possible About the Position: The Omaha Symphony is seeking a Tuba player for the position of Principle Tuba. This is a tenure-track position. The Omaha Symphony’s season is stylistically diverse, and equal emphasis is placed on public performances and education/community engagement programs. Some travel will be required within the Omaha Metro area. Compensation and Benefits: The *2025/2026 season is 38 weeks. The annual salary for this position in *2024/25 season was $50,255.40. Benefits include paid personal, sick, & audition leave, a two-week paid holiday break in December, partially subsidized health & dental, and instrument insurance, and up to 4% match on an employer-sponsored 403(b) retirement fund. * The Collective Barging Agreement is currently under negotiation, salary and benefits may change. Audition Process: This will be a multi-round audition.
