The dates for this audition are February 21-23, 2027. Employment is available starting September 2027. There is one full-time, tenure track position available.
The 2026-27 Season is 39 weeks, including an optional 4-week Summer Season. The minimum weekly salary for Third/Associate Principal Trumpet is $1,583.72.
Benefits include 3 weeks’ paid vacation, Medical/Dental/Life insurance with 90% employer premium contribution, Instrument Insurance, $360 Electronic Media Guarantee and 8.72% employer contribution to AFM/Employer’s Pension plan.
All provisions of the Master Agreement are subject to renegotiation for the 2027-28 season.
