TSO with chief conductor Adam Hickox are inviting highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of principal cellist. We are seeking an orchestral musician with strong leadership and communication skills. The position is one of two full-time positions as principal cellist, with responsibilities shared equally. This includes serving as both number two and number one on the first desk.
The salary for the position ranges from NOK 746,605 to 851,438 per year with incremental rises based on seniority.
The orchestra covers the cost of instrument insurance as well as necessary expenses related to maintenance and repair work.

Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera (TSO), established in 1909, is one of Norway's leading cultural institutions, based at Olavshallen in Trondheim.
