International auditions are scheduled for Nov 3-5, 2026

The 2026/27 forty-three week season includes a weekly scale fee of $2,529.77. Five of these weeks are paid non-service weeks, with one additional vacation week.

Other benefits: Long-term disability insurance, sick leave, 10% CFM-Musicians Pension Fund of Canada contribution.

Candidates are required to apply through Muvac, which involves creating a free profile.  When you submit your TSO audition application, you will be prompted to submit valid credit card information for a $100 (CDN) refundable application deposit. Your card will only be charged in the case of a no-show or a late cancellation.

Please note, applicants may be required to submit a supplementary recording as part of their application. Those applicants who are required to submit a recording will be informed shortly after the application deadline.

Confirmation/Withdrawal deadline: Monday October 19, 11:59pm
Applications will be reviewed shortly after the application deadline (Sept 28). At this point, candidates will be informed if they are invited to the live preliminary audition or to submit a pre-screening recording.
