For this position, we are looking for an outstanding musical personality who is capable of taking on the role of solo cellist (m/f/d) in one of Germany's most traditional and renowned opera and ballet orchestras.
In addition to artistic qualifications, which include experience with contemporary music and historically informed performance practice, we expect you to be willing to take on personnel responsibility for the cello section. This includes, in particular, holding group meetings and regular staff appraisals in consultation with the other solo cellist (m/f/d) and the orchestra management. We expect a high level of identification with our ensemble and the Württemberg State Theatres in Stuttgart. This also includes a presence beyond the contractually agreed orchestra duties.
We offer a special contract with reduced duties, taking into account your professional experience and qualifications.
A high-quality instrument can be provided.
You can expect an outstanding and highly motivated orchestra at Europe's largest three-genre theatre with exemplary social standards for our employees. In addition to numerous welfare benefits offered by our social services department and a childcare facility, there are also regular special workshops for the musicians of the State Orchestra.
All applicants (m/f/d) have the same opportunities with us.
Severely disabled persons will be given preferential consideration if they have the appropriate qualifications.
