The Staatskapelle Halle, formed from the merger of the Philharmonic State Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Halle Opera House, is Saxony-Anhalt's largest orchestra with 115 permanent positions.
It offers a wide-ranging repertoire in concerts, musical theatre and ballet.
Unique in the German music scene is the associated Handel Festival Orchestra, which performs on historical instruments.

The position is to be filled from 12 August 2026 or by agreement.
