The General Manager of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina announces audition for the following position:

Cello - assistant concertmaster (maternity leave cover)

The audition will take place on:
Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 2.00 PM at the Fatra House of Arts in Žilina

Commencing Salary from 1.400,- Eur gross (due to contestants’ professional experience)

Solo repertoire:
- Cello concerto of the Classical period (slow and fast movements including cadenzas)
- J. S. Bach: Cello Suites (one movement of your choice)
- Romantic cello concerto – fast movement

A. Corelli: Concerto grosso, Op. 6 No. 2, 2nd movement Allegro
W. A. Mozart: Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551 “Jupiter“ – 1st and 4th movement
L. van Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 in c minor – 2nd movement

L. van Beethoven: Overture Coriolan, Op. 62
F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy: Symphony No. 4 in A major “Italian“ – 4th movement
