The Mulhouse National Orchestra is holding auditions for a solo cellist on November 13, 2025.

The registration form, program, and orchestral excerpts will be published at a later date, no later than the first half of September.

A regional national orchestra since July 4, 2024, the Mulhouse National Orchestra presents a rich program each season, open to all repertoires ranging from baroque to contemporary.

With more than 120 performances, the Mulhouse National Orchestra offers a season of 20 symphony concerts at La Filature in Mulhouse, chamber music concerts, a transdisciplinary program, concerts for families and young audiences, and other events.

It is one of two partner orchestras of the Opéra national du Rhin, alongside the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
The two ensembles share the opera house's opera and ballet programming.

As an ambassador for Mulhouse in Alsace, the Grand Est region and beyond, the Orchestre National de Mulhouse pays particular attention to cultural and musical outreach and to sharing music with as many people as possible through a wide range of events, particularly educational ones.
Every year, nearly 15,000 young people (from toddlers to high school students) discover the world of classical music and a symphony orchestra.
