The Arctic Philharmonic is looking for an ambitious and versatile cellist to join our team in a full-time position based in Tromsø, Norway. With a wide-ranging repertoire spanning chamber music and full symphonic works, we offer one of the most diverse and flexible cello positions in the country.

The Principal Cello position has responsibility as section leader.
The Arctic Philharmonic is an expanding orchestra. Our unique orchestra model consists of a chamber orchestra in Tromsø and a sinfonietta in Bodø, and joint together in full scale symphony productions. Today, the group of musicians in Tromsø is a chamber orchestra of 20 musicians with Henning Kraggerud as Artistic Leader.  A typical season covers a broad range of repertoire, including chamber music, contemporary music, symphonic repertoire and opera/ballet.

Salary: Remuneration is in accordance with CREO’s prevailing remuneration scale for Arctic Philharmonic.
