The Joseph Joachim Akademie e. V. has made it its mission to enable aspiring professional musicians to gain professional experience in their desired field and thus make a valuable contribution to quality assurance within the German orchestral landscape.
The young instrumentalists receive two years of financial support (€850.00 per month) from the Joseph Joachim Akademie, individual lessons with members of the orchestra, they can participate in career-related workshops (e.g. audition training, workshops with internationally renowned soloists of the NDR Radiophilharmonie, as well as music psychological support) and have the opportunity to participate in rehearsals, concerts and recordings of the NDR Radiophilharmonie.
