From August 10–15, 2026, the VSO School of Music International Young Artists Festival will celebrate its inaugural international summer initiative dedicated to artistic excellence, mentorship, and the long-term vitality of classical music in Vancouver.

Bringing together outstanding young pianists and string players from around the world, the festival offers an immersive week of masterclasses, chamber music, orchestral experiences, and public concerts led by distinguished faculty. It is thoughtfully designed to meet students at a pre-professional stage and guide them toward the next phase of their artistic development.
