Pavel Sporcl Academy Czech Republic | České Budějovice Posted 04 May 2026 Courses Violin The Pavel Šporcl Academy 2026 is an international summer academy for talented young string players, held from 28 June to 4 July 2026 in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, a beautiful South Bohemian city and European Capital of Culture 2028. The faculty includes: Pavel Sporcl (violin, International Violin Virtuoso, Universal Music Artist), Prof. Dana Vlachova (violin, Head of the String Department at the Prague Conservatory) Petr Holman (viola, Head of the Viola Department at the Prague Conservatory and violist of the Zemlinsky Quartet) Petr Sporcl (cello, Head of the String Department at Jan Deyl Conservatory Prague and member of the M. Nostitz Quartet). Students take part in individual lessons, chamber music, and orchestra & solo concerts. Applicants must submit a video or MP3 recording by 17 May 2026. Results will be announced by the end of May. Only 10 violinists will be selected. Limited viola and cello places. FREE TUITION is offered to all selected participants.
