20th Ervin Schiffer International Music Master Classes Tata Hungary | Tata Posted 02 Apr 2026 Courses Violin Since 2007, under the professional and artistic direction of violinist Katalin Sebestyén and violist Ervin Schiffer († 2014), as well as renowned Hungarian and international professors, we have been organizing international masterclasses every summer, attracting young musicians and music students from many European countries and overseas. The masterclass is characterized by a continuous focus on chamber music, alongside instruction in solo violin, viola, cello, and piano. In addition, we provide participants with numerous performance opportunities in various settings, including as part of the Tata Baroque Festival program. The 20th anniversary Ervin Schiffer International Music Master Classes will be held this year from August 11–22, 2026, in Tata, Hungary.
