It focuses on training and interpretive work in a chamber orchestra and the development of interpretations of works by J. S. Bach (Cantatas BWV 92 and BWV 178) as well as Mendelssohn (String Symphony No. 3, e minor) in collaboration with the Saxon Chamber Choir Leipzig (www.saechsischer-kammerchor.de), conductor and music director Fabian Enders (www.fabianenders.de), and faculty members Professor Wolfgang Kupke and Dr. Felix Caffier. Stylistic and interpretive considerations are integrated into the rehearsal process. Students in the school music program who play a string instrument are also expressly invited to participate.
