Study places for Sept. '25 (especially for violin) & limited Scholarships are still available. The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance's MA in Classical String Performance is led by Principal players of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. Students receive individual tuition, chamber coaching, orchestral training & perform in ensembles with ICO Principals; and benefit from close contact to ICO visiting artists e.g. Henning Kraggerud, Thomas Zehetmair, Carolin Widmann & Kristian Bezuidenhout. A high-quality modern violin and viola & Baroque bows are available for course students. The unique focus of this 2-year, full-time course is developing embodied, holistically integrated musicians.
