Led by Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra's Artistic Director Marcio da Silva, Ensemble OrQuesta is opening another Mozart Conducting Academy in 2025, with performances at the prestigious Grimeborn Festival, at the Arcola Theatre in London. Rehearsals will take place in London from 19th to 25th August with a performances from the 26th to the 30th at the Arcola Theatre in London. This academy will be in partnership with the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra and the performance will be accompanied by an HPO Ensemble of 8 musicians (Flute, Oboe, Bassoon and string quintet). Participating conductors will be coached on opera conducting technique. The academy will be led by EO’s artistic director Marcio da Silva. Each of the four participating conductors will conduct at least one full act of this fully staged production. In the subsequent performances they can participate as assistants. Tuition fee: £1,500
