ICA Metters Final Season Masterclass and Concert United Kingdom | Cardiff Posted 26 Sep 2025 Courses Conductor ICA’s final masterclass and concert of 2025 will take place in Cardiff from 28 October to 1 November, led by Colin Metters and featuring the professional orchestra Ensemble Cambrica. This eight-day programme includes virtual score preparation followed by five intensive live days in Cardiff. Participants will progress through silent conducting, piano sessions, string quintet rehearsals, and full orchestral work, culminating in a public concert. The repertoire—Brahms Haydn Variations, Kodály Dances of Galánta, and Beethoven Symphony No. 4—forms the basis of the training and final performance. This is the culmination of ICA’s annual programme and is designed for advanced conducting students and early-career professionals. A few participant places remain.
