4th Conducting Academy for New Music Theatre Salzburg Musical Director: Peter Rundel Stage Director: Thierry Bruehl Composers: Nikolaus Brass, Bernd Richard Deutsch, Elena Mendoza, Vito Zuraj Ensemble: SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart Klang21 invites for his new edition of the Taschenopernfestival (Pocket Opera Festival) Salzburg 2025 young advanced conductors with special interest in contemporary music to participate actively in the process of creating the first performances of four new music theatre pieces written exclusively for this occasion. For this year's edition Klang21 Taschenopernfestival Salzburg cooperates with the world famous SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart. The four a-capella pieces are the musical basis of the theatrical realisations. It is the aim of the Academy to provide the participants with the full experience of realization by involving them actively in the process from the first rehearsals until the final performances.
