Mediterranean Opera Studio & Festival 2025 Italy | Caltagirone Posted 04 Jun 2025 Courses Timpani and Percussion Mediterranean Opera Studio & Festival is the premiere summer opera programme for opera singers, young orchestra musicians, aspiring conductors and directors. Faculty includes staff from the major opera houses of the world (ROH Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera NYC, Vienna Staatsoper, Frankfurt Oper, Glyndebourne etc.). MOSF provides a unique opportunity to tackle important operatic works under the guidance of renown musicians, like conductor Kamal Khan, seen worldwide on Placido Domingo's Operalia in 2023 & 24. Please note - this programme's focus is on learning through immersion in the rehearsal and performance process. This programme is suitable for university/conservatoire students and recent graduates. The operatic programme for 2025 includes: La Boheme (Puccini), La Sonnambula (Bellini) and L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti). Typically participation would cost $3000. Participation fees will be waived.
