Sheffield Music Academy is a Centre for Advanced Training funded by the Department of Education’s Music and Dance Scheme.
The SMA Infants Scheme offers an innovative scheme of learning to children aged 4–8. By combining high-quality instrumental tuition from an early age with interactive, fun-filled musicianship classes, the SMA Infants Scheme aims to inspire and motivate young children to fulfil their musical potential. Through a Kodaly-informed curriculum, children are encouraged to develop strong musical foundations through movement, creativity and exploration.
We are looking for an exceptional, inspiring, and highly motivated Violin Teacher to join and contribute to our vibrant community. If you're enthusiastic about nurturing young people’s musical development, we'd love to hear from you.
The post is subject to successful references and an enhanced DBS check.
About the Role: SMA Infants operates during term time across 30 Saturday afternoon sessions and 30 after-school Tuesday sessions each academic year.
