The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music is seeking an outstanding, internationally recognized artist/teacher to fill the position of Head of Vocal Studies. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be an outstanding vocalist and/or collaborative musician, with significant performance and leadership experience, and the capacity to provide a vision for the development of vocal studies at the Conservatory. Participation in the artistic life of Singapore and the region is also expected. In addition to maintaining a dynamic studio, the candidate will also be active in teaching and/or supervising adjunct faculty in the areas of opera workshop, diction, literature, pedagogy and language instruction in German, French and Italian, engaging in community and outreach activities, and recruiting students to the Conservatory through both national and international involvement at various levels, including targeted pre-tertiary programs and similar organizations throughout the region.
