Role Description: The position is expected to teach the course “Piano for Non-Major” to Tianjin Juilliard Graduate Studies instrumental students who are not piano majors. This course aims to equip students with essential piano skills while deepening their understanding of musical texture, harmony, and tonality through hands-on keyboard experience. The class is conducted in a group setting of 4–7 students in a fully equipped keyboard lab. The ideal candidate should be experienced in group class teaching and delivering course contents focused on building a strong foundation in: • Basic piano techniques, such as scales and arpeggios • Harmonization and chord progressions • Repertoire learning and performance • Contrapuntal and multi-voice textures • Musical collaboration and ensemble sensitivity
