The Trumpet Chair has 5 students for the 2026-27 academic year. The Accompanying Pianist Professor’s responsibilities mainly include: • Approximately 135 hours of teaching per academic year. • Offering one hour per week of individual joint work with each student of the chair, for each academic year. • Be fully available during the main teacher's visit periods, for the academic year between September and June. • Be fully available during visiting periods of international artists for master classes (1 or 2 days per visit, dates to be determined in each academic year). • Be available to accompany the students of the chair in the academic concerts (one quarterly concert) in the SONY Auditorium of the School, if necessary. • Accompany the students of the chair in their end of year recitals (only bachelor’s and master’s), if any, in the period from May to June. • Availability to attend concerts and activities outside school hours, both inside and outside the School's headquarters. • Accompany candidates in the annual auditions of the chair (in-person), usually on a single date to be determined in March. • Enhance the critical awareness of each student and their initiative in individual and personalized study, from the detailed analysis of the score. • Provide help and indications to students in the appropriate stylistic and sound conception of each work. • Provide musical support at the piano for the artistic and technical indications of the principal teacher. • Participate in the faculty meetings of the chair (quarterly). • Submit constructive written commentaries and assessments of students' educational progress (quarterly). • Submit grades in accordance with the requirements of the teaching guides and proposals of the relevant study program (annually). • Be qualified to officially sign qualification reports (annually).
