Permanent Salary: £59.13 per hour including holiday pay Location: Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Silk Street
We are seeking a professor with the following skills:
A performer with significant and high-profile orchestral and solo experience, including as a principal player.
Dedicated to individual student development and following syllabus requirements.
Committed to regular teaching of students in 1:1 principal study lessons and in classes.
Experience of teaching at an advanced level . The successful candidate will be an experienced, forward‑thinking, highly organised musician with deep knowledge of conservatoire‑level training in a relevant field. They will also have extensive experience of management and collaborative working within a complex and busy organisation, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. They will demonstrate a strong commitment to championing an equitable and inclusive curriculum and culture in line with regulatory requirements and the ethos of the School.
