This full-time role involves delivering high-quality 1:1 strings tuition in a range of genres, as well as leading ensembles for both under-18s and adults. The ideal candidate will be confident working across musical styles — including classical, pop, and jazz — and be passionate about developing string players of all levels and backgrounds. This peripatetic position will involve travel between sites, some regular term-time evening work, and teaching on one weekend day. The ability to teach basic musicianship, piano and/or an additional instrument is highly desirable.
