As the orchestra of the Tyrolean State Theatre, the TSOI participates in the house's music theatre productions, from opera and ballet to musicals. The annual concert program regularly includes eight symphony concerts, New Year's concerts in Tyrol, and other special concerts. The orchestra musicians present themselves in various ways through a comprehensive music education program and their own chamber music series.
