We are looking for a musician who excels in their instrument, demonstrates high commitment and reliability, and possesses strong integration skills.
We offer our musicians a work environment characterized by mutual appreciation and a professional atmosphere. We provide the orchestra's prominent musicians with opportunities for solo performances and support the individual development of each person within our capabilities.
As the opera orchestra at Theater Aachen, the Sinfonieorchester Aachen performs approximately 70 productions per season. Additionally, through its active concert schedule with diverse concert series ranging from chamber music to large symphonic works, the orchestra is the most important and largest provider of classical music in the Aachen region.

Furthermore, our orchestra distinguishes itself through its specialization in historical performance practice as part of an excellence project. Our musicians have the opportunity to learn from experts, and a collection of historical instruments has been acquired and made available to orchestra members.

Remuneration is according to TVK B / activity allowance level 2.
Unfortunately, travel and accommodation costs cannot be covered.
