The internship includes participation in rehearsals, concerts, and opera performances (approx. 15 services per month), coaching and instruction by a mentor from the section, chamber music projects with other interns, and an introduction to labor law and collective bargaining agreements. We recommend relocating your main residence to Aachen or its surrounding area due to the time commitment involved in the internship.
Duration: 1 year
Remuneration: 800 € per month
Requirements:
- no previous internship of more than 6 months in another TVK orchestra (or a comparable foreign orchestra)
- no professional employment (contract, temporary contract) in another TVK orchestra (or a comparable foreign orchestra)
- completion of music studies no more than 2 years ago or active music studies in the last 2 semesters or in a Master's program
- citizenship of an EU member state or regular enrollment at a German music conservatory or a work permit for Germany
Travel and accommodation costs cannot be covered.

We recommend a change of domicile to Aachen or near Aachen due to time and effort the internship requires.
Duration: 1 year
Fee: 800 € per month
Conditions for application:
- no other internship in a professional orchestra lasting for more than 6 months
- no fix job in another professional orchestra
- final exam no longer than 2 years ago or being enrolled at an university/conservatory for more than 2 years
- citizenship of an EU-member state or being enrolled at a German university or work permit for Germany
