Responsibilities:

• Concertmaster and Co-Leader share equally leading the orchestra

• Serve as the section leader for the string group, overseeing its artistic development.

• Collaborate closely with other section leaders, group leaders, administration, and the chief conductor.

• Participate in meetings concerning program planning.

• Manage rotation and tasks within the violin group.

Personal requirements:

• Outstanding musical and artistic abilities.

• Good cooperation and ensemble skills.

• Good leadership skills, socially and artistically.

Workload:
Maximum of 29 weeks of playing in the orchestra per year.
The audition will take place in both Kuppelhallen and our hall Fartein Valen in Stavanger Concert House.

All invited candidates must book and cover their own travel and cost.
