The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra invites applications for Associate Concertmaster. The audition will take place October 17–18, 2026, at Konserthuset Stockholm by personal invitation.
Please submit your application by  September 1, 2026.
Invitations to the audition will be sent out on September 18 2026
If we receive a high number of applicants, a digital pre-selection may be required. In that case, this will be communicated after the application deadline.
Applicants who have served as a substitute as Concertmaster or Associate Concertmaster in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra or who hold a permanent Associate Concertmaster or higher position are automatically qualified for the live audition and therefore do not need to submit a video. If this applies to you, please inform us by email at auditions@konserthuset.se together with your CV.
Candidates who reach the final round may be considered for future concertmaster vacancies within the orchestra.
