The Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg is recruiting a Co-Principal Violin who can play principal in the 2nd Violin section.
The 2nd Violin section includes two section leader positions and two co-principal positions.
The Co-Principal, in addition to their role on the 2nd stand, may be required to play principal on the 3rd or 4th stand.
Auditions begin at 9:30 AM (draw for order of appearance at 9:15 AM).
All auditions will take place in Strasbourg, at the Palais de la musique et des Congrès. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed.
Register on www.philharmonique.strasbourg.eu under the "orchestre" section, then "concours et recrutements" by Friday, November 13, 2026, at the latest.
An official accompanist will be available to candidates.
