As a violinist at Musikk i Nordland, you will:
Be part of Musikk i Nordland’s chamber ensemble with a classical profile.
Perform solo engagements and co-productions with other artists.
Participate in diverse project groups promoting artistic diversity and tradition.
Support other ensembles and groups as needed.
Contribute to talent development and masterclasses.
Take part in programming and production work when required.
Qualifications - We are looking for someone with:
Relevant higher education in violin performance
High artistic quality and strong communication skills
Experience as both ensemble musician and soloist
A valid driver’s license (Class B) is an advantage
Understanding of artistic development within public sector is beneficial but not required

Audition in Narvik: January 19–23, 2026: Musikk i Nordland covers travel and accommodation. Rehearsals with pianist and ensemble will be held the day before the audition.
Selected candidates will be invited to a third round including production work and interviews. Fees, travel, meals,and accommodation will be covered.
