Kurt Sanderling Academy of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin
Requirements for participation: A completed undergraduate degree, current or completed postgraduate studies. A maximum age of 27 years.
The duration of the academy is 12 months, with the option of extension (by arrangement).
The orchestra academy scholarship includes lessons on the main instrument, as well as participation in rehearsals and performances of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. You will be assigned a mentor for your main instrument.
The monthly commitment can be up to 15 services during the season, a maximum of 150 services per year. You are also required to participate in (chamber music) concerts organized by the orchestra academy. In addition, audition training sessions are held regularly with the mentors of the Konzerthausorchester, and you will receive individual seminars with a music psychologist (including performance training, mental training, etc.).
For the duration of your membership in the academy, you will receive monthly payments of €1005.00 (gross).
After the application deadline, the participants of the audition will be selected by the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Invitations or rejections will only be sent after the application deadline.
