Violinist in the Danish Chamber Players 
About the position:
The ensemble is looking for a versatile, flexible and outgoing violinist who is passionate about chamber music and who has the authority to fill a central place in the ensemble's instrumental composition.
The person must be able to accommodate a large and sometimes technically challenging repertoire.
The requirement is that the person in question has a high artistic level and a desire to constantly develop both the ensemble and themselves as musicians.
Furthermore, it is important to have a flair for communicating music to a broad audience – including children and young people in educational contexts.
The work assignments consist predominantly of chamber music, but collaboration with other art forms, solo assignments, choral works and opera collaborations may also occur, as well as various forms of teaching assignments to a lesser extent.
All musicians are expected to actively participate in the development of the ensemble in all its activities. The musicians in the ensemble thus undertake various administrative, communication and representative tasks as part of their job. Thus, each individual member of the ensemble has a great deal of influence on the ensemble's program.
The daily working language is Danish - both spoken and written.
It is expected that the violinist will also acquire the necessary linguistic competence to actively participate in all aspects of the ensemble's activities, including direct communication to the audience.
About Ensemble Storstrøm/Danish Chamber Players
Danish Chamber Players is one of the country's leading chamber ensembles. The ensemble is based in the modern KUMUS Art and Music Center at Fuglsang, and is one of five national basic ensembles that ensure a vibrant and active music environment with music experiences of the highest quality in the region and as a significant institution in the Danish music scene.
The ensemble was formed in 1991 and consists of 8 high-profile chamber musicians in a unique line-up of instruments: flute, clarinet, bassoon, harp, piano, violin, viola and cello. 
With 90-100 first-class classical concerts per year and an outward-looking music education effort, the ensemble creates musical star moments. They range from musical co-creation with children, creative projects with other cultural actors and recordings and tours, to concerts with the greatest classical works, completely new music and famous guest soloists.
