Please register at the gate of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Gärtnerplatz 3, 80469 Munich (stage entrance Klenzestraße).

Please prepare the audition programme listed in the attachment.
The musical accompanist (pianist) will be available one hour before the audition begins.
If you pass the audition, you will be required to undergo a medical examination before being accepted for the position.

We would also like to point out that travelling expenses cannot be reimbursed.

All pieces are to be performed in solo tuning on your own instrument. Sheet music for the pieces by T. Pigor and M. Davis will be sent as PDF files with the invitation.
1st round: 1st movement of a classical concerto, as well as T. Pigor's "Charleston" from "Three Men in the Snow" with piano accompaniment:
- classical concerto 2nd movement
- a piece of your choice
- M. Davis: All Blues (theme, walking bass, improvisation) with piano accompaniment

The following orchestral pieces:
- W.A. Mozart: Magic Flute Overture
- C.M. v. Weber: Freischütz Overture
- L. v. Beethoven: Symphony No. 5, 3rd movement
- G. Verdi: Othello
