Employment with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic will be permanent after a probationary year. For this position, we are looking for an outstanding musical personality who is able to take on the role of Assistant Principal Double Bass (m/f/d) in one of Germany's most traditional and oldest concert orchestras. The audition will take place in our concert hall, the historic Weinbrenner Hall in the Kurhaus Baden-Baden. You can expect a highly motivated orchestra with an exciting concert program, both in our own hall and regularly in renowned venues such as the KKL Lucerne, the Tonhalle Zurich, the Isarphilharmonie Munich, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and many others. Our Chief Conductor Heiko Mathias Förster has been the Artistic Director since 2022.
The audition will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at our Kurhaus Baden-Baden.
