Hidden Valley's Cello Master Class is an immersive, week-long learning intensive for advanced players. Participants enjoy opportunities for learning & advancement, as well as creating relationships within the musical community.
It's a testament to our exceptional teaching faculty that many of our students have gone on to hold positions in major orchestras and universities worldwide.

This class features solo performance classes with piano accompaniment, orchestral excerpts/audition preparation, score study/preparation, & a recital by Kosower. Participants and teachers live on campus during the session & spend meals and free time together.

Mark Kosower is the Principal Cello of the Cleveland Orchestra, scholar & teacher.
A modern player with a "signature sound" and distinctive style of playing, he embodies the concept of the complete musician, performing regularly as concerto soloist with symphony orchestras, in solo recitals, & as a much sought after chamber musician.

The pianist for the class is Melivia Raharjo, collaborative pianist at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
