Join an elite roster of pro-track musicians for a side-by-side orchestral residency in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Fellows rehearse and perform Dvořák’s New World Symphony and Bizet’s Carmen sitting directly next to principal faculty members. 2026 Faculty Includes: Keith Miller (Artistic Director, Met Opera) Yumi Hwang-Williams (Concertmaster, Colorado Symphony) Sean Claire (Concertmaster, Symphony of the Mountains) Michael Yopp (Principal Horn, Boulder Philharmonic) Terri Sundberg (Professor of Flute, UNT) Gary Sperl (Principal Clarinet, Knoxville Symphony) The Experience: This intensive program features daily mentorship, chamber music, and career seminars on auditions and contract negotiation. The Orchestral Program runs concurrently with GOVA's Vocal and Dance divisions on the Western Colorado University campus, creating a vibrant artistic atmosphere.
