The three “Artists in Residence” at classicAscona will each conduct a three-day masterclass at Collegio Papio Ascona. Each course will admit 6–8 students.

The Artists in Residence for the 2026 festival edition will be:

Julia Lezhneva, Soprano — 20–23 September 2026
Vilde Frang, Violin — 25–28 September 2026
Sol Gabetta, Violoncello — 28 September – 1 October 2026

BAROQUE ACADEMY

22–27 September 2026 in Ascona, Switzerland

With the Swiss recorder player Maurice Steger and the Zurich-based Baroque orchestra Il Pomo d’Oro, internationally recognized specialists in the interpretation and research of Baroque music are available for this project.
